Georgia

Georgia Licensure Disclosure

Premiere International College (PIC) delivers its Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program through online instruction, with all clinical experiences completed in person at approved healthcare facilities located in Florida.

While PIC’s ASN program is approved by the Florida Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Georgia Board of Nursing (GBON) has not formally reviewed or preapproved PIC for licensure eligibility in the state of Georgia. However, under Georgia law, graduates of out-of-state programs may be eligible for licensure if the Board determines the program to be “substantially equivalent” to those approved within Georgia.

PIC does not operate or conduct clinical training in the state of Georgia and is not subject to GBON’s institutional approval requirements under Georgia law. Based on an internal review of Georgia licensure statutes and curriculum comparison, PIC believes its ASN program meets the educational standards required for RN licensure eligibility in Georgia.

Additional Licensure Requirements in Georgia

Graduates who intend to pursue RN licensure in Georgia must complete the following additional steps:

Submit an application for licensure and pay the required fee to the Georgia Board of Nursing
Request that PIC submit official transcripts directly to GBON
Register for and pass the NCLEX-RN exam within three years of graduation
Complete a fingerprint-based criminal background check through a GBON-approved vendor
Attest to good moral character
For endorsement applicants only: submit license verification from the original state of licensure

New York

New York Licensure Disclosure

While PIC’s ASN curriculum is designed to meet the core education standards outlined in 8 NYCRR § 52.12, the New York State Education Department (NYSED) has not formally reviewed or approved PIC for licensure eligibility in New York. NYSED may determine that out-of-state or online nursing programs are “unsatisfactory” for licensure purposes, even if such programs are approved and accredited in their home state.\

Accordingly, PIC cannot guarantee that completion of the ASN program will automatically qualify graduates for licensure in New York. However, based on institutional review of New York regulations, PIC believes its curriculum aligns with the minimum education standards required.

Additional Licensure Requirements in New York

Graduates who intend to pursue RN licensure in New York must complete the following additional steps:

Submit Form 1 – Application for Licensure and pay the $143 application fee to NYSED
Request that PIC submit Form 2 – Certification of Professional Education directly to NYSED
Complete NY-approved Infection Control and Child Abuse Reporting trainings
Register for and pass the NCLEX-RN examination
Attest to good moral character

Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania Licensure Disclosure

Premiere International College (PIC) delivers its Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program through online coursework, with all clinical instruction completed in person at healthcare facilities in Florida.

The Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing has not formally reviewed or preapproved PIC’s ASN program for licensure eligibility. However, under Pennsylvania law and 49 Pa. Code § 21.23, graduates of out-of-state nursing programs may be eligible for licensure if the Board determines the program to be equivalent in content and quality to those approved in Pennsylvania.

PIC does not conduct clinical placements in Pennsylvania and is authorized to enroll Pennsylvania residents under NC-SARA. All clinical instruction is completed in Florida at approved healthcare facilities.

Additional Licensure Requirements in Pennsylvania

Graduates applying for RN licensure in Pennsylvania must:

Submit an application and pay the appropriate licensing fee;
Have PIC send official transcripts directly to the Board;
Pass the NCLEX-RN exam;
Complete a criminal background check and fingerprinting;
Attest to good moral character;
(For endorsement) Submit proof of active licensure from another U.S. state.
