Premiere International College - Accreditation Status Update

Premiere International College (PIC) remains fully accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) and continues to operate all programs without interruption. Classes, clinicals, and student services are proceeding as scheduled. Students remain eligible for federal financial aid under Title IV, and all graduates will receive diplomas from an accredited institution, unless ABHES withdraws accreditation prior to their graduation date.

On August 6, 2025, ABHES issued a Show Cause directive to PIC. This means that ABHES has identified certain areas where PIC must demonstrate full compliance with specific accreditation standards. While Show Cause is a serious designation, it is also a recognized part of the accreditation process that many institutions experience during their regular review cycles. It provides an opportunity for PIC to present evidence of compliance, implement corrective actions, and strengthen our operations.

Premiere International College has already taken significant steps to address the matters cited by ABHES. We are implementing enhanced tracking systems, increasing faculty training, and beginning curriculum improvements to ensure we not only meet but exceed accreditation and industry expectations. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to delivering an exceptional student experience.

ABHES has extended PIC’s accreditation through August 31, 2026. However, under Show Cause status, ABHES retains the authority to withdraw accreditation at any point before that date if it determines that compliance has not been demonstrated. PIC is actively working with ABHES.

As part of ABHES’ requirements for institutions under Show Cause, PIC will submit a teach-out plan. A teach-out plan ensures that, in the unlikely event accreditation is withdrawn, students are able to complete their programs with minimal disruption—either at PIC or through an approved partner institution. The development of this plan is a standard precautionary measure and does not mean that PIC anticipates closure or loss of accreditation.

Day-to-day operations at PIC remain unchanged during this period. All courses, clinicals, student advising, and financial aid disbursements are proceeding as scheduled. Faculty and staff remain dedicated to providing the highest quality instruction and support. Our top priority is ensuring that every student has the resources, training, and opportunities needed to succeed.

Commitment to Transparency

PIC is committed to keeping students, faculty, and stakeholders informed throughout this process. Updates will be shared through email announcements, town hall meetings, and a dedicated section of the PIC website. Students are encouraged to submit questions in advance of town hall sessions.
